I am here to support you, and your yoga practice. Regardless of your age, ability, injury, size or condition, I modify postures as required to encourage students to develop a deeper awareness of their own unique body and self. I am here to guide and support you in a lifetime of yoga. My approach emphasizes the development of self-love and self-awareness through movement and attention to the breath. I welcome you to a warm, friendly, non judgemental environment and look forward to meeting you.

Yoga Classes

Weekly Classes

The gentle and slower paced nature of my classes creates space for attuning to your body’s inner wisdom, promoting relaxation and inner balance. Through, meditation, pranayama (breath technique), asana (postures), and mudra (gesture/ hand gesture), you will be encouraged to enhance the awareness of your physical, mental, emotional, and energetic states. Whether you are looking to de-stress, stretch, move your muscles, learn calming breathing techniques, cultivate inner resilience, or integrate meditation – these classes are for you! My gentle yoga classes are incredibly soothing. I like to take wonderful care of my students with loving gentle guidance through the postures. My guidance is accessible to all body types, ages and abilities. Self modifications are always welcome.  

Private Sessions

Are you or a group of friends interested in trying Yoga? Are you a student looking to gain more insight and depth in your practice? Whether you’re looking to practice with your friends or co-workers or you desire the one to one practice, a private session might be right for you. I welcome individuals, groups, company lunch breaks, or private parties. Inquire about Private Retreats. Private Retreats can be custom made for your group. 

My private online yoga classes are suitable for all levels from complete beginner to experienced yogi. Each class is designed to meet your specific needs.  

A private yoga class in your own home or work place provides the perfect opportunity for us to both work together and focus on the unique requirements of your body. Join in on a Women’s Retreat! I offer retreats in Ontario, Canada and Nosara, Costa Rica. There are many retreat options to choose from. You can pick a day retreat in Bobcaygeon or a weekend retreat in Ontario or perhaps you would like to fully immerse in a week long trip to the tropics. You may be dreaming of a private retreat for just you and your friends that can be custom to your group? I can help you there! Retreats are my thing! I love to dive deep into them! My retreats are not just for yogis but for all women, of all ages who would like to give themselves this gift of retreating into their own wellbeing, to have fun, to nurture and care for themselves for a day, weekend or week! Restorative Yoga Nidra  

Join in once a month for a Restorative Yoga Nidra class to relax and unwind through different themes each month.

The first half of the class is a relaxing Restorative practice and the last half of the class resting down into Yoga Nidra. The two practices together creates the perfect blend to calm, quite and sooth the body, mind and soul.

Restorative Yoga is a relaxing, restful practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching. Restorative classes use bolsters, blankets, and blocks to prop students into passive poses so the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort. Restorative yoga helps provide physical and mental balance to prevent stress and anxiety, through the use of props that allow you to hold poses longer, giving you all the benefits of deep, passive stretching. A nice slow mediative practice, a delicious way to relax and soothe frayed nerves. 

Yoga Nidra is often referred to as “Yogic sleep,” or “sleep for the Yogi”. It is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. The practice allows the body to deeply relax while the mind stays inwardly alert. The student gets into a comfortable supported Savasana, relaxes and listens to guided instructions to move the consciousness through different layers of being. No movement is done during this practice. We settle into a comfortable positions and rest. This is a magical practice.
