We would be honoured if you would join us for a day on the shores of Pigeon Lake, Bobcaygeon Ontario. Our holistic wellness retreats combine yoga, meditation and spiritual restoration with plant-based, guilt-free nutrition to promote healing, inside and out.

We would like to offer you a day of pure bliss! This is your invitation to an experience curated for both new and dedicated yoginis, nature lovers, meditation enthusiasts, mothers, aunts, sisters, beloved friends and conscious women of all ages. We invite you to join us in the serene natural beauty of the Kawartha’s and the tranquil, peaceful space that is Sarovara Yoga Studio & One Day Retreat Centre. This is a magical place of healing and reflection. Come and get pampered for the day as we nourish your mind, body and soul with plant based vegan food, yoga, reiki and a workshop where we create something beautiful for you to take home! This is a FULL DAY experience! Our day begins at 9:45am and ends at approximately 5:30-6:00pm.                                                   Inquire about Private Retreats. What will the experience be like? Let us paint the picture

Lisa will begin the day with a beautiful morning yoga practice, which will include gentle flowing yoga, pranayama and guided meditation. Lisa gives you plenty of space to do what your body is asking of you, in the moment. After your morning yoga practice, there will be time for pause and reflection, as well as introductions before lunch is served. Lyndele will give your taste buds a wellness treatment! Lyndele uses only the best quality ingredients, locally sourced where possible. These meals will be deeply infused with prana, reiki and love, offering high vitality foods that are nourishing and healing. The menu is plant based, focusing on local and seasonal whole foods! Be prepared to feel incredible, energized and full of life! The afternoon portion of the day will be a workshop designed by Lisa. Working with the seasons, moon cycles and women’s health, each workshop is created with love and intention. Together we learn about self care, wellness, wild crafting and creating our own ahbyanga oils, body butters, moon baths, smudge sticks, elixirs, facial masks, yoni oil and more! Each retreat is different! To cap off the day, Lisa will offer a beautiful relaxing restorative yoga session while Lyndele offers her magical healing reiki.

Spring is a season of renewal and rebirth. Our spring day retreat will bring forth a feeling of rejuvenating after a long winter. Focusing on new beginnings and planting seeds for our own future growth. Our workshop is sure to uplift you and our menu will have your tastebuds soaring. Morning flow yoga and then a relaxing restorative/nidra with Reiki touch in the afternoon. Together we will embrace this new season with a fresh new start!

About Your Guides

Lisa Diem Retreat Curator/Director

Our lead guide and curator Lisa Diem (Fenelon Yoga and Wellness) offers a gentle, flowing, loving style of yoga. Lisa is a certified 200hr+ yoga educator and has 1000+ hours of training, as well as reiki level 2. Lisa specializes in gentle and restorative yoga, and is also certified in Yoga Nidra, children’s yoga, restorative yoga, and meditation. Lisa loves to share these passions with others. Her love of yoga, life and fun natural energy comes to shine in each of her classes. Pranayama (Breath work), Asana (Postures) and Meditation are all incorporated together bringing awareness to “the self” in each of her classes. Bringing the breath, the mind and the body together as one, she believes yoga can literally change our lives on and off the mat. Helping others to live their best life is something Lisa loves to do! As well as yoga, Lisa has embraced her ancestral roots of paganism. In 2015 Lisa became a Priestess (under the teachings of Ann Moura by Shelly Sias and Sally Dilatto of Cassadaga, Florida). Learning the old ways of using herbs, crystals and intention to bring forth natural healing. Lisa has been running day retreats for many years and finds great joy in being able to curate these retreats and share her offerings with other like minded women of all ages!
Both Lisa & Lyndele are both honoured to share their joy of retreats with you. They enjoy leading as well as participating in retreats and know how important it is to give yourselves these nourishing days for your Mind, Body & Soul!
Lyndele Gauci Retreat Assistant Director
Lyndele (Prana Wellness Studio) is a registered 200hr yoga educator, restorative yoga and has her reiki level 2.

Living in Nogojiwanong/Peterborough, Lyndele’s hometown has always filled her need to explore the arts community, participating in many a stage production over the last 25 years, as well as the great big, beautiful outdoors that surrounds her small city. She is raising a tiny human here (with her co-parent), and this duo often find themselves exploring nature, camping, laughing, learning together and exploring life. Lyndele is a singer, and the high vibrational pull of music is also strong in her son. Lyndele is a gardener and urban homesteader, where living off the land was fostered right from her birth! She enjoys working her kitchen magic, and is an avid supporter of buying/growing/shopping and sourcing LOCALLY. They welcomed an 8 y/o feline into their home last October, and this family of three are very happy and content here, at the place at the end of the rapids.

About the space

Our location is Sarovara Yoga Studio & One Day Retreat Centre, overlooking a secluded bay on Pigeon Lake is located right in Port 32 of Bobcaygeon. In the heart of the Kawartha Lakes,  surrounded by water and nature,
The word “Sarovara” describes this yoga sanctuary perfectly. The meaning of this ancient Sanskrit word is “a body of water deep enough for the lotus flower to bloom” which can be roughly translated to “Lake Yoga”.
Retreats here always make for some good nature watching – whether it’s otters playing on the ice, herons fishing on the shore, butterflies & hummingbirds floating on by, beavers swimming across the bay or ospreys diving for fish! Not to mention the symphony of birds and frogs in the spring & summer months.
Always a beautiful & unique experience, this place is a little slice of heaven on earth.

Lunch

Our lunch is prepared by Chef Lyndele. Lyndele has been preparing delicious meals for families in Kawartha Lakes for many years. She will give your taste buds a wellness treatment! Lyndele uses only the best quality ingredients. The menu is plant based, focusing on local and seasonal whole foods! These meals will be deeply infused with prana, reiki and love, offering high vitality foods that are nourishing and healing. Be prepared to feel incredible, energized and full of life!
